How it Works
Yoga Training Online at Your Own Pace
Access our training anytime from anywhere in the world. Deepen your practice and enhance your teacher toolkit with our courses and trainings.
The online training is laid out in weekly formats that guide students through the readings, videos, and other course content. This online program can be completed in as little as 4 weeks, but students are encouraged to take the time they need to connect with the curriculum, heighten their understanding, and deepen their practice. You will receive dedicated support from our Lead Trainers and Peer Support team, who are available throughout training to help answer questions and offer feedback.
This course is intended for students looking to deepen their own practice, as well as teachers wanting to enhance their teacher toolkit. Therapists, counselors, and alternative healers looking to expand their toolbox and deepen their understanding of ancient yogic practices will also benefit from this training. Upon completion, teachers will be eligible to teach Trauma-Informed Yoga and be able to create a safe and projection-free container through yoga for exploration with clients and students. All online trainings are approved continuing education courses through Yoga Alliance and can be used to fulfill CEU requirements. This course counts towards 40 non-contact hours with Yoga Alliance.
The course begins with an overview of the Central Nervous System, the neurobiology of trauma, and how it is stored in the body. Our course will discuss the stress response, pratipaksha bhavana, and the healing cycle. Learn how yoga is related to mental health, and what you can do as a practitioner and teacher to hold space for yourself and your students. Our Trauma-Informed Yoga training is perfect for medical professionals, therapists, or yoga teachers working with populations who are recovering from trauma, or for practitioners looking to inform and deepen their practice.

My yoga practice began in 2004 in Kuwait after the birth of my oldest son. I was looking for a way to get back into shape while cultivating some balance in my life. I studied Ashtanga Yoga both privately with my teacher and independently for a decade before I decided to take my practice to the next level.
I hold a M.Ed in Curriculum Development, I'm an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, and I'm a C-IAYT Yoga Therapists serving populations in Eating Recovery, Behavioral Health, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Over the past decade, I've built a sustainable company in the health and wellness space that is geared to professionalizing the industry and creating equitable employment opportunities.
I teach public classes in Austin, Texas, I teach corporate classes and private classes as my schedule permits, and I host workshops and retreats. This spring I opened my first yoga studio on the campus of ACC at Highland. Our 2,400 square foot facility offers daily vinyasa classes, specialty classes, yoga therapy, and yoga teacher training. Our classes, yoga therapy sessions, and workshops are all donation-based. I’m excited about the unfolding experience and grateful for all that brought me here. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
