Do you feel like you are rushing through your day? Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsettled? In Daily Applications of Mindfulness, we will be learning ways to slow down and experience our present moment while holding compassionate space for ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Over the course of our training, you will learn several simple and short techniques that may be implemented into your daily life, when you need them the most, while also learning some more formal practices that may be adopted and applied into our daily or weekly routine. Both ways of practicing mindfulness, informally and formally, offer notable benefits to our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Upon completing this training, you will receive a certificate and may receive 40 credit hours of continuing education through Yoga Alliance.
Angela is an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, a Certified Meditation Instructor, and a YACEP.
Having experienced several setbacks in life which created emotional and mental turbulence, Angela needed to find ways to live in a balanced head and heart space. She has learned ways to practice and implement mindfulness strategies into daily living that helps ground oneself into the present moment while holding compassionate space for self.
The present moment is always available to us. The question is whether we are living in the here and now or are we stuck in the past and/or the future?
