This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training LITE version of our YTT gives you all of the content that you would get in our traditional YTT without the certification requirements making this training perfect for individuals who want to deepen their practice, but are not interested in certification. You learn everything from philosophy to history, anatomy to sequencing, subtle bodies, and so much more.
Flexible Access with Community Connection
Register anytime and learn at your own pace. All required texts are included in electronic format. Students will receive access to pre-recorded video lectures, asana practices with Michelle, as well as written content. Additionally, participants can expect access to a diverse and intimate online community with members from around the globe.
What You'll Learn
My Vinyasa Practice teaches traditional yogic principles and history and offers the most authentic yoga training available. This course covers the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the history and philosophy of yoga and Ayurveda through the lens of Tantra Yoga, meditation, dharma and karma, anatomy and physiology, sequencing and cueing, chakras, energetics, and traditional practices to elevate consciousness, as well as introductions to Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Yin, Prenatal and the Business of Yoga.
Additional Reading: Light on Yoga by B.K.S Iyengar and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are highly recommended to obtain and can be acquired through your local library.

My yoga practice began in 2004 in Kuwait after the birth of my oldest son. I was looking for a way to get back into shape while cultivating some balance in my life. I studied Ashtanga Yoga both privately with my teacher and independently for a decade before I decided to take my practice to the next level.
I hold a M.Ed in Curriculum Development, I'm an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, and I'm a C-IAYT Yoga Therapists serving populations in Eating Recovery, Behavioral Health, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Over the past decade, I've built a sustainable company in the health and wellness space that is geared to professionalizing the industry and creating equitable employment opportunities.
I teach public classes in Austin, Texas, I teach corporate classes and private classes as my schedule permits, and I host workshops and retreats. This spring I opened my first yoga studio on the campus of ACC at Highland. Our 2,400 square foot facility offers daily vinyasa classes, specialty classes, yoga therapy, and yoga teacher training. Our classes, yoga therapy sessions, and workshops are all donation-based. I’m excited about the unfolding experience and grateful for all that brought me here.
