Access our training anytime from anywhere in the world. Deepen your practice and enhance your teacher toolkit through yoga teacher training.

Our program is an alternative to Yoga Teacher Trainings in a studio while still maintaining the integrity in training, depth of learning, and personalized experience one should expect in a Yoga Teacher Training. Upon completion of our 200 hour training, teachers are eligible to teach private clients, groups, and corporate clients. Students will be prepared to teach in studio, gym, retreat, and clinical settings. My Vinyasa Practice is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. As of March 2020, Yoga Alliance instructed its RYS to move their training programs online. Our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is currently being facilitated online. Training includes weekend zoom sessions held Saturday and Sunday. These sessions are recorded for those who need the replay. Students can complete the entire training online through December 31, 2021 and register with Yoga Alliance upon successful completion. You can find our YA profile HERE.

Work At Your Own Pace

The training is laid out in weekly formats that guide students through the readings, videos, and other course content. Our program can be completed in as little as 8 weeks, but students are encouraged to take the time they need to connect with the curriculum, heighten their understanding, and deepen their practice.

Become Certified

Once you have completed your training you will receive your certificate and be eligible to teach yoga anywhere at the 200 Hour level.

Our training covers the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the history and philosophy of yoga and Ayurveda through the lens of Tantra Yoga, dharma and karma, anatomy and physiology, sequencing and cuing, along with chakras, energetics and traditional practices to elevate consciousness.

My yoga practice began in 2004 in Kuwait after the birth of my oldest son. I was looking for a way to get back into shape while cultivating some balance in my life. I studied Ashtanga Yoga both privately with my teacher and independently for a decade before I decided to take my practice to the next level.

I hold a M.Ed in Curriculum Development, I'm an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, and I'm a C-IAYT Yoga Therapists serving populations in Eating Recovery, Behavioral Health, and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Over the past decade, I've built a sustainable company in the health and wellness space that is geared to professionalizing the industry and creating equitable employment opportunities.

I teach public classes in Austin, Texas, I teach corporate classes and private classes as my schedule permits, and I host workshops and retreats. This spring I opened my first yoga studio on the campus of ACC at Highland. Our 2,400 square foot facility offers daily vinyasa classes, specialty classes, yoga therapy, and yoga teacher training. Our classes, yoga therapy sessions, and workshops are all donation-based. I’m excited about the unfolding experience and grateful for all that brought me here.
